Booking & Scheduling
How do I book an appointment at OLARA?
Please call the clinic to book. Let us know your preferred date, time and what you would like to discuss, and we will confirm an available slot. Booking ahead makes for a smoother visit.
How far in advance should I book if I am travelling from abroad?
We suggest getting in touch two to three weeks before you travel. Holidays and peak travel seasons fill up quickly, so the earlier you contact us, the easier it is to fit your schedule.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book?
No advance payment is needed for a standard consultation. For certain time slots or longer appointments we will explain the arrangement beforehand and proceed once you have confirmed.
Can I reschedule if something comes up?
Yes. Please let us know as early as you can and we will help you rebook. Getting in touch early makes it easier to find a time that suits you.
What are your clinic hours?
Mon, Tue, Fri 10:00-19:30 / Thu 10:00-21:00 (evening hours) / Sat 10:00-15:30. Closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Language & Payment
Can I be seen in English?
Yes. You are welcome to enquire and book in English by phone. English-speaking support can also be arranged on the day of your visit — please let us know when you book.
How are treatment fees determined?
Fees depend on your skin condition and the plan agreed, and are explained after an in-person consultation. Prices at Korean medical institutions are generally shown inclusive of tax. Please call the clinic for details.
Can I pay by card? What payment methods do you accept?
We accept international credit cards and Korean won in cash. Foreign currency cannot be used directly, so please exchange at the airport or in the city, or pay by card.
Can foreign visitors be treated? Do I need my passport?
Visitors entering on a tourist visa or visa-free may be seen. Please bring your passport for identification at your first visit; no other documents are required.
Treatments
What should I prepare for my first visit?
Nothing in particular. The director will consult with you first, and explain what suits you once she understands your skin and what you are looking for. Please mention any medication you are taking or any history of allergies.
What treatments does OLARA offer?
Mainly facial lifting and skin regeneration, including ultrasound lifting, radiofrequency lifting and regenerative skin treatments. What is actually recommended follows an in-person consultation.
What is the difference between ultrasound and radiofrequency lifting?
They work at different layers of the skin, and suit different areas and skin conditions. At your consultation we explain which approach fits your facial proportions and degree of laxity. The same treatment does not suit everyone.
Can I have more than one treatment in a day?
It depends on your skin and how you are on the day. If your trip is short, tell us how long you are staying when you book and we will help plan what can reasonably be done in one visit.
Do you see male patients?
Yes.

Aftercare & Getting Here
How soon after treatment can I fly home?
It depends on the treatment. We suggest leaving at least a day of buffer after your appointment, and we will go through the specifics with you on the day.
What should I be careful about while still in Korea?
We generally advise sun protection, and avoiding very hot environments such as saunas, as well as alcohol. Specific aftercare depends on your treatment and is explained on the day. You are welcome to call the clinic with any questions after you return home.
Where is OLARA, and is it easy to reach?
OLARA Clinic is in Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul — about 80m from Exit 4 of Apgujeong Station, on the 3rd floor above Gureum Pharmacy. It is a short walk from the subway. For directions see

How do I get to OLARA from Incheon or Gimpo Airport?
Take the Airport Railroad (AREX) or an airport bus into central Seoul, then Subway Line 3 to Apgujeong Station; the clinic is about 80m from Exit 4. If you take a taxi, show the address 서울 강남구 논현로171길.
